Where did the ideas come from? Our ideas for our 2 minute opening scene came from many different places. We spent a little while going through other peoples opening scenes on YouTube and from other blog posts and then we wrote down many different ideas on a bit of paper and then in the end we all decided on one. While filming we changed little parts of it as a team and we all thought of ideas together. We used little bits from a lot of other opening scenes but then put them all together to make one. How did you work collaboratively to share ideas? We worked collaboratively by putting all of our ideas together and using the ones that we thought were best, so we all used at least 1 of our ideas, some may be more if they were good which meant in the end we would have an idea of an opening scene that included all of our ideas but in different ways and using different techniques. Logan Trailer Analysis

Right at the start of the trailer there is country music being played. This could tell us that the film Logan is filmed out in the country/desert. At the very start we see the word 'Marvel' pop up. This tells us that it is part of the X men franchise. This is a unique selling point by having this included right at the very start because if people have been to see Marvel films before and enjoyed them, they are more than likely going to go and see this film.  We immediately see a close up of a mans hand and arm. The hand is covered with blood. This could be a genre indicator, indicating that t is an action film. This is when we are first introduced to one of the main characters, this character is Logan. The trailer then cuts to a close up of Logan's face. The hand that was shown was probably Logan's hand at the start as well.. Throughout this scene there is a voice over being played over the music.
